Tell Me More

We see you, product-based business owner: 2024 is your year of putting yourself out there, getting your products in front of more dreamy people to turn them into even dreamier customers.

You want to get featured in media outlets and break into in person events. You want to get stocked in well known retailers. You want to network more with the people in the know. You want to increase your knowledge as a business owner, add more skills to your ever-expanding repertoire, and grow your confidence in what you do. You want to make more friends in the self-employed space, and expand your support network of people who not only truly get what it’s like, but shout your name when you’re not in the room.

And we know you deserve all of these things, and more. But finding opportunities and connections takes So. Much. Time. You’ve also got to design, make, package and promote your products too (all without the help of a magical Time Turner, which as far as we know doesn’t exist yet).

That’s why we’ve created The Hub membership, an online platform specifically designed to help product-based business owners grow their business by harnessing the power of community – and we’re so glad you found it.

Mepple, Founder of Smoothees

“Think it’s a really useful tool. Lots and lots of information, especially where to sell in person and PR sections. Things that I usually spend ages scrolling through Instagram to find.”

Why The Hub?

I personally found it impossible when running my product selling business a few years ago to search for the right opportunities to showcase, promote and sell my products on top of making the products, packaging and THEN needing to film doing all of the above for social media! There are so many things to do when you’re usually the only employee!

In addition, during the early days, online discussion groups like Facebook, really helped get my business up and running. I was clueless on where to go for advice, or how to do things.

So we wanted to create a place that solved both these frustrations. A safe space to help each other grow and thrive, with a regular flow of opportunities for business owners to research and explore to see if they’re suitable.

We want to help people have a career running their own business, doing what they dream of, helping them create a successful business.

“This is brilliant”

“OMG loving it so far, this is brilliant. Excited and proud to be in this community. I’ve been trading for 7years now and this is what I needed when I started. Great people sharing experiences and ideas.”

Ann, Founder of Superdiva Jewellery

“This is my go-to business app now”

“Amazing amazing work. You have done a wonderful job. The user interface is so easy to use and the content is so valuable. I work in Tech in my day job and I don’t know why no one else has done this, but I’m so glad that you have!”

“I can imagine this being somewhere I check most days as a part of my morning routine to see if there are any opportunities, markets etc to apply for and to go if there is a question I need help with. With the PR especially I have wanted to do more of that but didn’t know how or where to start and I feel this is a good jumping-off spot.”

Abby, Founder of Abby’s Artelier

“Being a part of this great idea that IDH has put together for all of us, will support my journey to make this business move to greater heights. Thank you I Do Handmade for all you do, your support and efforts are truly appreciated.”
