If you have finally got the hang of knitting accessories and would like to step up to knitting your own super chunky knit jumper, this all-in-one top down jumper knitting kit is exactly what you need to get started.

This simple super chunky, top down design is knit on circular needles which means no sewing up. Hurrah! It’s a brilliant project for gaining confidence with knitting in the round and presents you with the perfect opportunity to explore some newer techniques like increase stitches and picking up stitches in the raglan style sleeves.

We recommend this as a product for established knitters, but if you’re a confident beginner then there’s no reason why you can’t give this cosy jumper a go. The design requires you to know how to:

• knit in the round
• knit rib stitch
• M1L and M1R
• hold stitches
• pick up and knit stitches
• k2tog

But, this knitting kit does contain an easy to follow step by step ‘How To Knit’ guide which talks you through the basic techniques and stitches and the jumper pattern itself contains any extra stitch tutorials you might also need to know.

If written instructions aren’t necessarily for you, we’ve got your back. A series of knitting video tutorials is available where you will be guided through each of the stitches and techniques outlined in the guide.

Choose from a wide selection of colours; go bold with a bright shade, or classic with a neutral tone.

• Set of 12mm bamboo circular knitting needles (80cm)
• Tapestry needle
• All packaged in a light cotton drawstring project bag for you to store and protect your knitting when you’re not working on it.

Length (from cast-on edge): 48 (48) 49 (49) 50 cm
Sleeve length (from underarm): 30 (30) 31 (31) 32 cm

Knitting gauge – 7 stitches and 10 rows make a 10x10cm square worked in stocking stitch on 12mm needles

Once made, for best results hand wash and leave to dry flat. However, the yarn is fully machine washable so feel free to chuck it in your regular 30 degree wash.
