Small business podcasts to listen to from your office, studio, or dining room table

If you’re in need of some inspiration on some new small business podcasts, this one’s for you…

One of the things I was wary of when I went from full-time employment to self-employment was the realisation that I was suddenly going to be alone. How would I cope going from a bustling office with loads of colleagues to me, myself and I, and sometimes some cute but ultimately unhelpful toddler coworkers? Quickly I realised the answer was: not very well, so I decided to investigate some ways to combat the loneliness, and one of my major discoveries was small business podcasts.

Whereas you might listen to lifestyle podcasts like Shagged, Married, Annoyed or Serial on drives or whilst you’re cooking, small business podcasts are a whole different ball game: no less enjoyable to listen to, but packed with tips and advice too.

I’ve collected 20 of my favourite small business podcasts below to give you some inspiration. Some have more of a listed advice structure, and some have a looser, chattier vibe. Some small business podcasts niche down on one area of being self-employed, and some deal with all aspects. Some small business podcasts speak specifically to one industry, and some are focussed more generally. I find all of them useful in different ways, so I’ve included a mix to help you find the perfect fit.
