Get to know me

Hello

I’m Becky

A 30-something mama of two from West London, and I know exactly what it’s like to feel invisible as a product seller.

For over a decade, I’ve been part of the creative community—making handmade wedding decor, running craft workshops, selling craft kits, and doing all the things product sellers do to try and get noticed. Markets,

And I struggled with the same things you might be struggling with right now:

  • Not knowing where to sell beyond the same few local markets
  • Spending hours Googling and finding nothing useful
  • Feeling completely alone in figuring it all out
  • Wondering how other makers were getting featured in magazines and shops

I was stuck. And I was exhausted.

Then COVID Hit—And The Pivot Began

When the pandemic shut down all the shops in 2020, I had an idea: what if I created a gift catalogue featuring independent brands from in and around my county to help them get discovered?

We posted the magazine to thousands of homes in our local area, inspiring and reminding people to shop small for Christmas.

The catalogue was a hit!

But I realised something: I loved helping small businesses get visible and generate sales.

So when restrictions lifted, I thought: What if we turned this catalogue into an in-person pop-up market?

The Naïve Email That Changed Everything

So in 2021, I did something a bit crazy.

I went to Westfield London’s website, went to the ‘contact us’ page and emailed Europe’s largest shopping centre asking if they’d be interested a new pop-up initiative for our first ever I Do Handmade Pop-Up Market.

Two scary zoom calls and a pitch deck later – I couldn’t believe it, they said yes!

Months of planning, designing, promoting, and in July 2022, my little brand’s logo was on display on a physical kiosk in the middle of Westfield London. We popped up there at Westfield for 9 weeks. We were so oversubscribed that we didn’t end up having a stall to sell our own craft kits—as it turned into a pop-up operation!

Westfield invited us back and over 450 small independent businesses sold their products at Westfield that year alone.

The stories that came out of those pop-ups were incredible

From Warner Bros staff walking past and buying products for a film set, to another business doing so well they set up their own shop in Westfield Stratford, to brands being discovered and invited to sell their products in shops around the country.

A member of staff from ITV saw the market and asked if we’d host a pop-up at their head office. Over 20 businesses popped up at ITV Studios and it was a great moment for the beautiful brands involved.

An office manager in London also discovered our pop-up and asked if we could host a mini pop-up in their foyer in Paddington.

Then More Offices Started Calling

More people heard about our pop-ups so we began popping up in busy London office blocks, growing the corporate arm of the business. We were at TikTok, IHG, CBRE offices helping product sellers introduce their products to new customers.

We’ve since expanded to 100+ offices across the UK, helping businesses get discovered by working professionals with disposable income.

We also hosted pop-ups at Lakeside Shopping Centre, Victoria and Waterloo Station, and even built a Small Business Village at The Ideal Home Show in Scotland & London.

But there was a problem

Every product seller I met was struggling with the same things I’d struggled with years ago:

  • They were longing for more places to sell their products. They were Googling for hours and finding the same 5 results.
  • They had no idea how to get PR. They saw other makers featured in magazines but didn’t know how to make it happen.
  • They were working completely alone. No one to ask, no one who understood.
  • They were wasting money on expensive market stalls and barely broke even.

I realised I’d spent 15+ years in the business world, understanding what actually works.

And I thought: Why should everyone have to start from scratch?
