Join us for a relaxing afternoon of block printing, where you can discover this therapeutic art form which has been around for hundreds of years.

During this hour and a half crafty session you can create your own signature designs onto brown wrapping paper, cotton gift bags and gift tags using a wide selection of wooden block print stamps and a variety of paint colours.

During the session you’ll learn all the skills you need to be able to block print and have support throughout to help you at any point. All materials will be provided, as well as lots of creative inspiration and demonstrations. This session is perfect for complete beginners to block printing. If you think you may need any support or assistance to take part, please let us know in advance so we can ensure you get the most out of the session.

The afternoon will be hosted by myself, Becky & my mum Wendy and we’re confident that you will leave the session fully inspired by this captivating craft and wondering what else you can block print in your life as well as with armfuls of gift wrap and some beautiful bags.

During this workshop everyone will be printing: – 3 cotton drawstring gift bags – 10 gift tags – As many sheets of wrapping paper as you can fit into the session

Safety & Security

During these times of social distancing please rest assured that we are taking all the recommended steps to ensure maximum safety. Our indoor workshops will be taking place with windows open and we would ask that you bring your own hand sanitiser and mask.

We are hoping to be able to give you a lovely cup of tea/coffee and a mince pie (or 2!) during this workshop but we reserve the right to decide not to do this should government guidelines change or if we feel that its unsafe to do so.

It is absolutely critical that we ensure your safety first, so we may also ask you to take a lateral flow test or show proof of vaccination prior to your workshop to ensure the safety of your fellow crafters if cases locally rise significantly.

Fingers crossed all remains safe until then! For more information contact

We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Barn.
