Wanting a little inspiration for some baby shower decoration ideas? Or wondering what to do to bring a little fun to an upcoming baby themed party?

We had the pleasure of providing decor for a yummy mummy’s baby shower. We created a few handmade, decorative bits and bobs full of colour. Including a nappy wreath, lace bunting, pink tissue blossom tree and nail varnish favours.

Don’t say baby game, give everyone 3 pegs to begin with, if you say the word baby, the first person to notice gets to take a peg. The person with the most pegs at the end of the event gets a prize.

One Stunning Vintage Barn Wedding

A barn wedding is always such a privilege to decorate. Most of the time, the barns are so magnificent, it doesn’t need a lot to impress your guests! I love the look of the brown wood against the lace and white fabrics of the table cloths.

We recently helped the lovely Nicky & Oliver with their beautiful barn wedding. The venue looked stunning, we loved all of their great ideas they chose – my favourite was their table numbers.

Our hessian chair tie backs all behaved themselves adding a touch of vintage to the room. Take a look through some of the photos we shot.

Keep All Your Lists Safe With These

Keep all your lists safe with these decorative pegs.

Put a few of your clothes pegs to another good use – fridge magnets! They’re so easy to decorate and your fridge door will appreciate the attention.

All you need is:

  • Strips of magnet tape
  • Washi tape
  • Stickers

Buy strips of magnet from most craft shops or eBay. You can buy it by the meter with one side sticky, the other magnet of course! Then cut up strips to match your peg length.

Then on the other side use any stickers that take your fancy! I saw some stickers with phrases for my pegs to help keep me organised. If you find stickers that are a little bigger, trim around the edge.

Now, I’ll be able to peg my receipts, notes and keep them all in order! (Notice there are none yet in the photo!)

If you just want a simpler design and no words, why not try decorative washi tape which you can buy from most craft shops or ebay.

And if lists aren’t your thing, why not use these pegs to hold photos or your child’s constant flow of arty masterpieces.
